The Seido 2 is one of the highest performing SRCC rated thermal collectors available today.  It combines evacuated tube technology with a flow through design.  This allows the collector to be orientated in any manner; vertical, horizontal or even with the header at the bottom. This invites many creative architectural applications, such as incorporation into deck railings, building facades, low profile needs, and more.

In addition, the individual evacuated tubes and flat absorber surface may be rotated to adjust for a non south orientation.  The header on the Seido 2 has a smooth aluminum finish in brown with a square cross section.

Each Seido Tube is 4 inches across to allow for an extra large absorber surface and produce maximum BTU’s. This tube diameter was developed to achieve high performance and minimize installation time and materials. Virtually all other evacuated tube manufacturers use a much smaller diameter tube and require nearly twice as many tubes to generate similar performance.
